The fire which broke out in the hostel of a three-storey building near the Hulftsdorp Court Complex in Colombo this morning has been completely extinguished, the police department said.
The fire had broken out at around 9.30am today (15) after several clothes inside the hostel had reportedly caught fire.
The fire was put out with the assistance of the fire brigade, police said.
