The Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association (LPBOA) says they vehemently oppose the actions taken by the police with regard to traffic laws.
President of the LPBOA, Gemunu Wijerathne, stated that the police are contravening public law with regard to private buses and bus operators.
He stated that they would launch an island-wide strike action on Tuesday (9) opposing this unusual treatment.
