A building at Nawalapitiya town has been completely destroyed by a fire, which broke out in the early hours of this morning (15).
The police said that the fire was extinguished with the assistance of the fire brigade and the residents of the area, within few hours.
No casualties were reported following the incident. A team from the Government Analyst’s Department will visit the scene for further investigations, tomorrow.
