Unidentified body of youth found in Watareka

The badly decomposed body of an unidentified youth has been discovered in the Usedanda canal in Watareka, Poddala this morning.
The body has decomposed to such an extent that it is difficult to identify the deceased, Ada Derana reporter said.
The body, which was recovered by Poddala Police, has been placed at the mortuary of the Karapitiya Hospital while the postmortem examination is to be conducted today.
Poddala Police are conducting further investigations.
