A person was shot and killed in near the Old Market in the Kosgama Town today by two unidentified gunmen who had arrived on a motorcycle.
Police said the shooting took place at around 1.15pm and that the victim, a 35-year-old man, was killed on the spot.
Kosgama Police are conducting investigations into the shooting.
