A 45 year old mother and her 19 year old daughter have died following an earth-slip at the Loinen Estate in Bogawantalawe, the Police spokesman confirmed.
The earth-slip has occurred due to the torrential downpour experienced in the area.
Police said the two victims were sleeping inside their home when the earth slip occurred last and that they may have passed away in their sleep.
