Medadumbara PS Budget defeated

The 2015 Budget of the UPFA-controlled Meda Dumbara Pradeshiya Sabha has been defeated by a majority of one vote, Ada Derana reporter said.
Five UPFA members including the PS Chairman cast their votes in favor while seven UNP members voted against it.
Five PS members of the ruling United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) were absent for the vote. The UPFA recently announced that it will expel the local councilors who have voted against their respective budgets from the party.
