A man found guilty of murdering his son’s wife in the Aralaganwila area in 2006 has been sentenced to death by the Polonnaruwa Magistrate’s Court.
He was also imposed a sentence of 5 years in prisons and a fine of Rs 5,000 on another charge of attempted murder of his own wife, police said.
The murder was carried out in the Aralaganwila area on March 19, 2006.
