Five persons were wounded and hospitalized following a head-on collision between a private bus and a lorry in the Thalangama area on the Ambepussa-Warakapola.
The injured persons including the drivers of both vehicles have been admitted to the Warakapola Hospital for treatment.
Meerigama Police are conducting further investigations.
