A 17-year-old youth has been hacked to death by a group of unknown individuals in the Pattiya area in Kelaniya this afternoon.
The Police Spokesman’s Office said that the murder had occurred at the location of No. 204/B, Biyagama Road, Pattiya at around 1.30pm today (29).
The murder had been carried out as a result of longstanding dispute between two rival groups in the area while investigations are ongoing, police said.
