Strong Winds during the next few days

The Met Dept. said that the low pressure area is moving northwards and away from the Island. Although the possibility of rain is low, strong winds can be expected during next few days as the system will develop further, the Dept. further said.
Showers will occur at several places in the Northern, North-central, North-western, Western and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in the Galle district.
Thundershowers will develop at several places in the Central, Uva and Eastern provinces during the afternoon or evening.
