The Central Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) is scheduled to meet later today, for the first time since the party’s shock defeat at the Presidential Election.
The meeting, which is to commence at 4.00pm today, will be chaired by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who lost the election to the former SLFP General Secretary Maithripala Sirisena.
Several key issues including the party’s future course of action are likely to be discussed at the gathering.
