Two seater aircraft found at a warehouse in Narahenpita

A dilapidated two seater plane found in a warehouse at the Narahenpita Economic Centre, this evening.
Police Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana said that a police patrolling team found the plane upon a call made to the police emergency number 119.
According to the police, a group of people was preparing to take away the light aircraft at the time police teams approached the location.
The police have initiated an iniquity to locate the ownership of the plane, however, senior movie director Chandran Rutnam told Ada Derana that the plane belonged to him and will provide a statement to the police, on this regard, tomorrow morning.
