No one was injured when a passenger transport bus caught fire in the Wattala area on the Colombo-Katunayake Expressway, wee hours of this morning, the police said.
The fire erupted at around 12 midnight and the vehicle has been completely destroyed due to the fire, according to the Operations Director of the Colombo-Katunayake Expressway.
The police suspect that the fire may have caused by a mechanical failure.
