Body of missing infant found near Kalu Ganga

The body of one-year-old infant girl, who was reported missing in the Aguruwatota area in Horana, has been found near the Kalu Ganga this morning, police said.
The body was recovered from a location around 300m from the girl’s house, the police spokesman’s office said.
The girl, who was just 1 year and 9 months old, was reported missing since yesterday (3). She had reportedly disappeared while being fed by her mother, who had entered the home for a few minutes to wash her hands.
