At least 22 persons were injured after a speeding private bus veered off the road and overturned, on Monday (13) afternoon, the police said.
The accident occurred on Kaluwanchikudy to Batticaloa road in Wellawali area.
According to the police, the wounded persons including the bus drivers have been admitted to the Kaluwanchikudy Base hospital for treatments.
