Two arrested over killing at the Bambalapitiya school

The police on Wednesday (22) apprehended two individuals in connection with the murder of a woman at a leading school in Bambalapitiya.

 

Police Spokesperson ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said that a person who is said to be the clandestine lover of the victim and a security guard attached to the school have been arrested.

 

The body of the woman was found inside a store room at the school on 19 April.

 

The 44-year-old victim was attached to the minor staff at the school. 

 

The suspects will be produced before the Colombo Magistrate today.
