May Day traffic plan in Colombo City

There will be limitations to traffic in Colombo City due to several May Day rallies scheduled to commence from 12 noon, Police spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said.

 

Police headquarters said that traffic along the following roads will be restricted:

 

12 noon – 7.00pm

 

T B jayah Mawatha, DR Wijewardena Mawatha, Vauxhall Street Dawson Street Junction to Ibbanwala Junction

 

1.00pm – 6.00pm

 

Dharmapala Mawatha Park Street Junction to Lipton Circus, Baseline Road Borella Junction to Dematagoda Junction

 

12 noon – 3.00pm

 

Maligawatta – Pradeepa Mawatha, Panchikawatta Junction to Jumma Junction,
Baseline Road – Kirulapana High-level Road Junction to Narahenpita Park Road Junction

 

2.00pm – 5.00pm

 

High-level Road – Balapokuna Road Junction to Havelock Road Dickmans Road Junction

 

12 noon – 5.00pm

 

Union Place, Slave Island Junction to Lipton Circus

 

11.00am – 3.00pm

 

Saunders Place

 

1.00pm – 5.00pm

 

Colombo 12 central road

 

2.00pm – 5.00pm

 

Kirulapana – Dutugemunu Mawatha and Balapokuna Road
Maradana Road – Maradana Junction to Borella Junction
