Showers, thundershowers at several places

The Met Department in its weather forecast for Tuesday (31) says that showers will occur at several places in the Western, Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
Fairly strong winds can be expected over the country (hilly areas) and surrounding sea area, the Department further said.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
