Three held, 200 Kg Ganja seized in Sella Kataragama

The Excise Department arrested three persons and seized 200 kg of ganja at Dambe village in Sella Kataragama, an official said.
The street value of the seized ganja is estimated over 4 million rupees, the officer added. Acting on a tip-off, a special team from the Excise Department carried out the raid and apprehended the suspects on Sunday (14) morning.
“Two trishaws that used to smuggle ganja have also been seized. The arrested suspects will be produced before the Magistrate, tomorrow,” he said.
