Party will unconditionally give nominations to MR, says Yapa

There were no discussions to impose any conditions in the party to grant nominations to the former President, SLFP General Secretary Anura Priyadarshana Yapa said.
The observation was made at a press conference held in Colombo on Wednesday (08).
Yapa also added that he was shocked with the statements that the Prime Minister made to the public at a media gathering held on Tuesday (07).
“I’m of the view, that the Prime Minister did a confession about the Central Bank bond issue. In the first place, I thought that he was going to apprise the public of what they about to do after the election or something special,” he added.
