Two individuals who had attempted to rob a restaurant in the Welimada area were killed following an attack last night.
Police spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said that the two men had allegedly arrived at the establishment in order to carry out a burglary.
They had died following an attack at the restaurant, he said.
