The United National Party (UNP) has secured a victory in Kegalle and Nuwara Eliya electoral districts and won five seats in both districts each.
The UNP received 247,467 votes while the UPFA with 227,208 votes secured four seats in Kegalle.
The UNP received votes 228,920 while the UPFA with 147,348 votes secured three seats in Nuwara Eliya.
