A body has been discovered in a garbage dump near the Kurunegala General Hospital.
The discovery was made following information received by the police emergency hotline service.
The deceased has been identified as a 42-year-old resident of Weuda in Kurunegala.
The cause of death is yet to be ascertained while Kurunegala Police is conducting an investigation.
