Indian Government urged to study Lanka resolution by TN Assembly

Indian Union Minister of State for Shipping, Pon Radhakrishnan, has said the Centre would analyse the contents of the resolution passed by the Tamil Nadu Assembly (TNA) on the Sri Lankan issue and will take an informed decision, The Hindu newspaper reported today.

 


The Assembly on Wednesday had urged the Centre to move a strong resolution in the United Nations for an international probe into alleged war crimes during the final stages of the war.

 


Speaking to reporters in India, Mr. Radhakrishnan said the BJP was firm that anyone who has done wrong should be punished.
