10yr old hacked to death; body dismembered in Athurugiriya

A gruesome crime where a 10-year-old boy being hacked to death reported from Kapurugoda-Panagoda, Athurugiriya, Police said a short while ago. The boy’s limbs have been dismembered and throat slit in by a sharp object.
The incident has occurred at approximately 11.10am this morning, Police said. The victim is alleged to have been alone at home when the crime took place.
Athurugiriya police are conducting further inquiries.
