PM too admires “Derane Daruwo” scholarship scheme

While appreciating the efforts extended by TV Derana to support the families of those affected by kidney disease in Sri Lanka, Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe said that he hopes Manusath Derana scholarship scheme “Derane Daruwo” would be able to succeed beyond its expectations.
“I highly admire the effort of the Derana media network on its effort to assist the families of those affected by the disease, and the foster parent scholarship scheme Derane Daruwo,” the PM said in a statement.
TV Derana in its CSR initiative Manusath Derana this morning successfully launched the second step of the foster parent scholarship scheme “Derane Daruwo” to raise funds to educate children of families affected.
