Chamara Sampath Dassanayake, R.M. Kumarasiri Ratnayake, Senthil Thondaman and Saliya Sumeda Silva took oaths as Uva Provincial Council Ministers before President Maithripala Sirisena a short while ago, President’s Media Division said.
Governor of the Uva Province M.P. Jayasinghe was also present at the occasion.
Chamara Sampath Dassanayake, who is the Chief Minister of the Uva Province, was sworn in as the Minister of Finance and Planning, Law and Order, Education, Local Government, Power and Energy, Construction and Rural Infrastructure Development.
R.M. Kumarasiri Ratnayake was sworn in as the Provincial Minister of Health and Indigenous Medicine, Probation and Child Care Services, Women’s Affairs and Social Welfare.
Senthil Thondaman was sworn in as the Uva Province Minister of Road Development, Water Supply, Estate Infrastructure and Co-operatives.
Saliya Sumeda Silva has been sworn in as the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Tourism, Transport and Cultural Affairs.
