Kondaya released on bail

Dunesh Priyashantha alias ‘Kondaya’ has been released on bail by the Gampaha Magistrate’s Court after his mother signed bail for him.
Priyashantha, who was a suspect in the murder of 5-year-old Seya Sadewmi and was later released by the Minuwangoda Magistrate, continued to remain in remand custody over 2 cases against him pending in Gampaha Court.
The Gampaha Magistrate granted him bail on Wednesday (21), however due to the non-singing of his bail by a related party he was placed in remand custody.
Dunesh Priyashantha’s mother had signed singed his bail today and therefore he was released, Ada Derana reporter said.
He had been ordered released on two personal bails of Rs 50,000.
