A double murder has been reported from the Hikkaduwa police area a short while ago and investigations are proceeding, police spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara said.
According to reports, two individuals have been gunned down in the Pathana area on the Hikkaduwa-Baddegama road.
The bodies of the victims have currently been placed at the Arachchikanda Hospital.
