The Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) will sign a petition against the Prime Minister tomorrow, it was reported.
GMOA Secretary Dr. Nalinda Herath said the decision was taken after an urgent Central Committee meeting which was held at its trade union head office today.
The petition will be signed over several remarks that the PM made against the GMOA, he added.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe on Friday said in Parliament that he does not intend to provide the Government Medical Officers’ Association (GMOA) with an opportunity to discuss trade union issues.
