Body of suspected murder victim found in Panadura

The body of an individual suspected to have been murdered has been discovered in the Arukgoda area in Panadura, police said.
The deceased has been identified as a 44-year-old resident of Alubomulla in Arukgoda.
The body was found with severe head injuries following information received by the police immergency hotline.
The magistrate’s inquiry and postmortem examination are to be carried out today.
So far no information regarding any suspects has been uncovered while Panadura South Police is conducting further investigations.
