Traffic expected at Kottawa Interchange

Due to expected traffic congestion at Kottawa exit on the Southern Expressway tomorrow (27), motorists traveling towards Colombo are urged to use Kahatuduwa and Athurugiriya exits.
On Thursday (24), police advised the motorists looking to exit from Godagama Interchange on the Southern Expressway to exit from Pinnaduwa and Kokmaduwa instead due to a long queue at the Godagama Interchange for several hours.
The Southern Expressway generated a record income of Rs 16 million on December 24 due to excessive traffic ahead of the long weekend.
Around 50,000 vehicles had used the Southern Expressway on December 24.
