UPFA Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa arrived at the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) a short while ago to give a statement, Ada Derana reporter said.
The police media unit said that a suspect was recently arrested and remanded after he made a phone call to a former Air Force Commander while claiming to be MP Namal Rajapaksa.
The MP was summoned to give a statement regarding the matter.
