The authorities will give due consideration to take steps to cultivate cannabis here with a proper security mechanism, Minister of Health, Nutrition & Indigenous Medicine, Rajitha Senaratne says.
Minister Senaratne made the observation at an event held in Wadduwa.
The Minister said cannabis can be used for medicinal purposes and hence measures would be taken to implement the new security mechanism.
