Two dead, 2 injured as car crashes into tree

Two persons were killed while another two were wounded after a car veered off the road and crashed into a tree near 15th Mile Post on the Eppawala-Kekirawa main road. 

 

Police said that a total of four persons were admitted to the Eppawala Hospital following the accident, however two of them including the driver of the car succumbed to injuries. 

 

The deceased have been identified as a 36-year-old from Senapura and a 25-year-old from Thambuttegama.

 

Eppawala Police is conducting an investigation.
