A Sri Lankan has been arrested this morning by the Customs staff at the Departure Lounge of the BIA while attempting to smuggle Euro 30,000 to Singapore. The 55 year-old suspect had concealed the money in his rectum.
The money is valued at Sri Lankan Rupees 4.9 million. An inquiry will be held by the Deputy Director Customs.
