Two individuals found guilty over a murder committed in the Ratnapura area in 1999 have been sentenced to death by the Ratnapura High Court.
The sentence was delivered following a 17 year-long trial over the shooting and killing of a person in Mandadeniya, Dodampe.
Police said that two men from Homagama and Anuradhapura were sentenced to death by the court.
