The body of an unidentified individual, who is believed to have been murdered, was discovered in the Randeniya area on the Kegalle-Rambukkana main road.
The body was found by police officer on patrol duty this morning (19) while a suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder, police said.
The identity of the victim has still not been uncovered.
