A fire had broken out in a house belonging to former Minister Jagath Pushpakumara located at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo 7, the police said.
According to the Police Spokesman’s Office, fire had erupted this morning near a servant’s room of the house.The police said that the fire has been extinguished with the assistance of the fire brigade.
The cause for the fire is yet to be ascertained.
