Court prevents demonstrations at Karapitiya Medical Faculty

The Galle Magistrate has issued an order preventing the Galle allied health students from holding protests for 14 days from today near the Karapitiya Medical Faculty, the police spokesman says.
The order was issued by Magistrate Nilupuli Lankathilaka upon a request by the Poddala police this afternoon.
A demonstration organized by the undergraduates from the Ruhunu University is scheduled to be held at the karapitiya Medical Faculty tomorrow.
