Man injured in another motorcycle shooting

One person was critically wounded and hospitalised following a shooting incident in the Delgaha Junction area in Baddegama last night.
Police said that the victim was riding a motorcycle when two unidentified men on another motorcycle opened fire on him and fled the scene.
The target of the shooting, a 49-year-old man from Hikkaduwa, has been admitted to the Karapitiya Hospital and is reportedly in critical condition.
The incident comes just hours after a similar shooting occurred in Kochchikade resulting in the death of a motorcyclist.
A person riding a motorcycle was shot dead by two unidentified gunmen on another motorcycle in the Wele Kade Junction area in Madampella at around 8.15am yesterday (4).
