Student acquitted over Seya murder arrested with heroin

Three youths have been arrested for the possession of heroin in the Divulapitiya area.
The suspects were arrested following an operation carried out by Divulapitiya Police, acting on information received.
Police said that 62 miligrams of heroin were found in the possession of the suspects who are residents of Divulapitiya, Badalgama and Hunumulla.
They were released on bail after being produced before the Minuwangoda Magistrate while the case is to be heard again on March 15.
The police media unit said that the schoolboy who was initially arrested as a suspect in the murder of Seya Sadewmi in Kotadeniyawa and later acquitted, is also among the arrested three youths.
