Three killed in Saliyawewa accident

Three persons were killed after being run over by a lorry in Saliyawewa police area on Anuradhapura -Puttalam road, the police said.
The deceased have been identified as two women and an eight year old boy who were residents of the same area.
The police have launched a search operation to arrest the lorry driver as he fled the scene, the police Spokesman said.
The remains of the deceased are deposited at the Anuradhapura Teaching hospital pending autopsy.
