Power outages reported from several areas

Several areas including cities in Central Province and Southern Province experienced power outages this afternoon (27), the Ceylon Electricity Board announced.

 

 

 

 

 

Power outages were reported in Badulla, Nuwara Eliya, Kurunegala, and several areas in the Southern Province, it was reported.

 

 

 

 

 

The Ceylon Electricity Board said that repairs are underway to restore the power soon. Earlier, the country experienced hours long blackout as a result of an island-wide power failure as well.
