Body of woman found with mouth gagged, hands bound

A woman has been found murdered at a residence in Homagama with hands bound and mouth gagged.
The body was discovered by officers of the Homagama Police Station, following information received.
The victim is a 60-year-old resident of the area who had been living at the house in Mahakatuwana Road all by herself.
No information have been uncovered regarding any suspects in the murder while Homagama Police is conducting further investigations.
