Madhawa Madawala wins award for Most Influential Brand Leader

Chief Operations Officer cum Executive Director of TV Derana Madhawa Madawala was awarded the Most Influential Brand Leader award at the World Brand Congress a short while ago in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

 

 

 

The World Brand Congress is the single largest rendezvous of best brains behind some of the world’s most successful and sought after brands. The 25th edition of the Congress was held today (11) at Pullman Kuala Lumpur City Centre Hotel & Residences.

 

 

 

The theme for this year’s edition is "Building the Next Generation Millennium Brand".

 

 

 

According to the World Brand Congress, The Most Influential Brand Leader award is intensely researched. The research cell consists of Post Graduates in Psychology, Sociology, History & Management with over 10 year research experience. It is the iconic job of the research cell to produce a shortlist of Individuals who are doing extraordinary work and track the record of their achievements. The shortlist is then reviewed by a Jury comprising of senior professionals from across the globe.

 

 

 

Madhawa Madawala, has been key figure at TV Derana from its inception and is currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer cum Executive Director.

 

 

 

Having completed his formative education at Richmond College, Galle he passed out from the University of Colombo with a Chemistry Special. He has a MBA from the Post Graduate Institute of Management (PIM) from the Sri Jayawardenapura University.
