Puttalam District UPFA MP Sanath Nishantha Perera has been admitted to the Kurunegala Hospital with minor injuries following an automobile accident, police said.
The vehicle he was traveling in had veered off the road, toppled and collided with a parked vehicle.
Several other individuals were wounded due to the incident which had occurred a shot while ago.
