Disciplinary decisions on Mahinda will be taken by President - Samarasinghe

President Maithripala Sirisena will decide on disciplinary action on former President Mahinda Rajapaksa on a diplomatic level, Minister of Skills Development and Vocational Training Mahinda Samarasinghe said today.

 

 

 

Samarasinghe said this today at a press conference when it was inquired as to why the SLFP Central Committee takes disciplinary action on MPs of the party however not on Advisors.

 

 

 

Samarasinghe added that Rajapaksa was the former President of the country and that he could not be compared with a Minister like Kumar Welgama, hence decisions on him will be taken by President Sirisena.
