Four ‘treasure hunters’ arrested in Kaduruwela

Four persons, who had allegedly engaged in an illegal excavation in Kaduruwela, have been arrested by the police, Ada Derana reporter said.
The suspects have been identified as persons from Dawlagala, Kalmunai, Kaduruwela and Makola, according to the police.
Several equipment used for the illegal excavation have also been seized from the possession of the alleged treasure hunters. The suspects will be produced before the Polonnaruwa Magistrate today (21).
